Class Description

Discover the magic of Metal Clay and learn how to turn it into real silver jewelry you can wear home. Metal clay is a soft, moldable material made from pure silver, allowing you to sculpt, texture, and shape your own one-of-a-kind pieces. In this class, you’ll create silver pendants or earrings while learning the fundamentals of working with metal clay. We’ll cover texturing techniques, design options, and how to set fire-in-place cubic zirconia stones. Whether you come with a design in mind or want to explore what’s possible, the instructor will guide you through the process. This class meets over two evenings: • Night one: Design and create your jewelry. Pieces will be fired in the kiln by the instructor. • Night two: Learn polishing, antiquing, and finishing techniques to bring your silver pieces to life. You’ll also learn how to torch-fire metal clay, giving you confidence to continue working with the material on your own. Perfect for beginners and returning students alike, this class is a great introduction to metal clay—and a chance to make something truly special.
