Class Description

Discover the timeless art of block printing in this fun, hands-on class with artist Anastasia Zielinski. You'll learn how to design, carve, and print your own linoleum block, exploring the creative use of positive and negative space to produce bold, dramatic images. Once your block is carved, you'll use it to create a series of beautiful handmade prints or greeting cards that can be reproduced again and again. Please bring a simple design or photograph to work from, and Anastasia will help you choose the best elements to create a successful print. This class is suitable for beginners and anyone interested in exploring the art of printmaking. All carving and printing supplies are provided.
