Class Description

Fabric Dyeing & Stenciling: A Two-Session Creative Workshop Get ready to play with color and create something uniquely your own! In this two-session workshop, you'll transform a plain cotton item into a colorful, personalized work of wearable or functional art. Session One: Dye It! During the first class, you'll learn a variety of fabric dyeing techniques and experiment with color, pattern, and design. Choose your favorite colors and create bold, vibrant effects or softer, more subtle combinations as you transform your cotton fabric blank. Session Two: Stencil It! Once your dyed pieces are ready, you'll return for the second session to add another layer of creativity! Choose from a variety of stencils and use fabric paints to create designs that complement—or boldly contrast with—your hand-dyed background. Fabric blanks will be provided, with materials fee to be paid to instructor (project options TBD). Depending on the project, you may be creating something fun for yourself, your home, or as a one-of-a-kind gift. No experience is necessary, and all materials and instruction are provided.
