Class Description

Want to make your own marketing materials but not sure where to start? This class is for you! Learn how to use the online graphic design platform Canva to create a range of projects such as posters, business cards or social media ads. Canva is very user friendly and anyone can use it. It offers free project templates to work from, or you can create from scratch. This class will introduce you to the program and lead you through several features to make a flyer, ad and/or business card. The instructor will also share some basic graphic design tips to make your product readable and eye-catching. Your designs are saved in Canva and can easily be modified when needed, and easily downloaded for printing and posting to the web. Bring your own fully charged laptop or tablet to class that can connect to the internet. It would be helpful to have digital images of your art to work with as well.
