Jesica Carleton

Instructor Bio:
Jesica Carleton of Carleton Manor Mosaics has been driven by curiosity and creative exploration since childhood, when an early classroom critique—and her mother’s fierce defense of her imagination—taught her to trust her artistic instincts. That formative moment sparked a lifelong commitment to self-expression that now fuels her work across a remarkable range of mediums, from welding and glass fusing to printmaking, collage, and mosaic. Though mosaic is her primary focus today, she continually pushes its boundaries, embracing experimentation, innovation, and the unexpected.
As an instructor, Jesica is known for her enthusiasm, ingenuity, and ability to make complex techniques accessible and fun for students of all levels. She believes art should be inclusive, empowering, and joyful, and she takes pride in helping others bring their visions to life. When she’s not teaching or creating, she spends time working and volunteering at DIYCave, exploring digital fabrication tools and metalworking, or relaxing at home with her supportive husband and their lively crew of pets.
